Daut Laze's prison escape, Lezha court releases three guards

The three Shënkoll prison employees, who were arrested after the escape of 49-year-old Daut Laze, were released from their cell.

Gjin Ndoka, Mark Nikolli and Zhaneta Mella were informed about the security measure at the Lezha Court.

According to sources, in the court session held behind closed doors, they stated that they were on duty, but did not observe the 49-year-old escaping from prison.

After hearing the parties, Judge Lirim Bulica accepted the request of Prosecutor Françesk Ganaj, deeming the arrest of the three prison employees lawful and imposed the security measures "house arrest" on Gjin Ndoka and Mark Nikolli, while the security measure "compulsory appearance" was imposed on Zhaneta Mella.
