Arrested in the anti-drug operation in Vlora, who is 'Robi', the brother of the perpetrator of the Çole massacre where three people were killed

Ferdinant Llanaj, 43 years old, described as a person with high risk and a name not unknown to the police.

During Operation Otima in Selenica, Vlora, Llanaj was arrested along with two other people in the Otima area after being accused of cultivating 600 cannabis sativa narcotic plants.

During the action for the arrest of this group, Ferdinant Llanaj tried to hide from the police by hiding in some bushes. But it was discovered by the blue uniform drone.

Llanaj escaped an assassination attempt in October 2017, where he together with his son and his friend, Dritan Begaj on "Transballkanike" street, near a gas station in Vlora. Llanaj was injured in this event.

Ferdinand is the son of Baftjar Llanaj, executed on June 15, 2011, near Selenica for revenge. Also, Ferdinand is the brother of Aleksander Llanaj, who in 2015 killed 3 people in the Çole Massacre, while he was sentenced to life imprisonment.

Police notification for the 'Otima' action:

The police operation codenamed "Otima" is successfully finalized, to prevent, identify and crack down on criminal activity in the field of cultivation of narcotic plants.

Operation conducted by the Local Police Directorate of Vlora, Special Forces RENEA and the Directorate of Special Operational Force, under the direction of the General Directorate of State Police.

3 citizens are handcuffed, one of them with a previous criminal record.

4 vehicles were seized, two of them armored, 6 mobile phones, a sum of money and a quantity of cannabis narcotics.

Në vijim të kontrolleve të pandërprera në të gjithë qarkun Vlorë, si dhe në zbatim të planit të masave për parandalimin, evidentimin dhe goditjen e veprimtarisë kriminale në fushën e kultivimit dhe prodhimit të narkotikëve, bazuar edhe në informacionet e marra në rrugë operative se në zonën e Otimës në Selenicë, persona me precedent kriminal kishin kultivuar bimë narkotike, nga Drejtoria Vendore e Policisë Vlorë, në bashkëpunim me Forcat Speciale RENEA dhe Forcën e Posaçme Operacionale, nën drejtimin e Drejtorisë së Përgjithshme të Policisë së Shtetit, u finalizua operacioni policor i koduar “Otima”, në kuadër të të cilit u bë arrestimi i shtetasve: 

F. Ll., 43 vjeç, banues në Selenicë (me precedent të mëparshëm kriminal), D. B., 54 vjeç, banues në Vlorë dhe E. C., 21 vjeç, banues në Librazhd.

These citizens, in cooperation with each other, had cultivated a considerable number of cannabis sativa plants in the premises of the residence of the citizen F. Ll. and in the premises around a building owned by this citizen, in the place called "Otima Stream", Selenica.     

During the controls exercised in these premises, a quantity of cannabis narcotics, 4 vehicles, two of them armored, 6 mobile phones and a large amount of money were found and seized as material evidence.

The materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Vlora, for the criminal offenses "Production and sale of narcotics" and "Cultivation of narcotic plants", committed in collaboration.
