The Democratic Party has reacted after the announcement of the launch of verifications by the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) regarding the lobbying contract in the US, stating that everything was done in full compliance with the law.

In a statement to the media, the DP accuses Prime Minister Edi Rama of using SPAK as a tool to cover up his scandal with former FBI agent Charles McGonigal, while adding that the contract with President Trump's lawyer has scared not only Rama, but also his "tools".
