President Bajram Begaj participated in the Swiss Summit for Ukraine. Begaj stressed the need to immediately find a way to peace.
During his speech before world leaders gathered in the Swiss city of Burgenstok, the President of Albania declared: "Our challenge is monumental. Let's develop a framework for a future peace agreement".
"Any peace process must be led by Ukraine", declared the President of Albania as he confirmed the continuation of support for Ukraine until peace is achieved, in accordance with the UN Charter, respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as underlining the fact that Russia must bear responsibility for its actions.
Peaceful coexistence within internationally recognized borders has been described as vital by the President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj.
"The road to peace must never be a road of surrender. It should be a road built with the courage to uphold our values ", emphasized Begaj.
