The Transparency Board sets the new fuel prices.
At the last meeting, the board decided that starting today, oil will be sold at 229 Lek per liter, gasoline at 203 Lek, gas at 78 Lek.
Thus, the board has increased the price of oil by 10 lek, gasoline by 8 lek, while the price of gas does not change.
Full Notice:
The decisions of the Transparency Board on September 29, 2022, are the result of the movement of prices on the Platts Mediteran stock exchange, where the increase is due to the increase of factors:
1. Gasoil increase in the stock market +68 usd a ton from September 26.
2. Gasoline increase in the stock market + 60 usd from September 26.
3. dollar exchange rate from + 1.63 points from September 26, when the last meeting of the board was held.
As a result, the prices set are:
The retail price of the gasoil by-product of the SSH EN 590 standard should be no more than 229 ALL/liter, while the wholesale price no more than 217 ALL/liter.
The retail price of the SSH EN standard gasoline by-product should be no more than 203 ALL/liter, while the wholesale price no more than 191 ALL/liter.
The retail price of the gas by-product should be 78 ALL/liter retail and 66 ALL/liter wholesale for vehicles.
(Note: the selling price for liquefied gas for vehicles will be the supply price at the supply stations at gas stations, while at other points for household and industrial consumers the price should not include the excise duty).
The prices set by the Board will come into force today, September 29 at 20:00 and will be valid until the next meeting of the board where the changes in the sales prices will be reflected.
The transparency board that was created has strictly followed in its decisions the movement of the Platts Mediterranean stock exchange for diesel, gasoline, as well as the official invoices of the operators.
The Ministry of Finance feels obliged to clarify the public opinion that not every movement of the crude oil exchange is reflected at the same time and to the same extent in the diesel and gasoline exchange.
