The Bulgarians deceive the Albanian, they take 98,500 euros

A gang of Bulgarians robbed a 63-year-old woman of Albanian origin, a permanent resident of Santorini in Greece.

The four Bulgarians, already arrested, had information about the car accident that the Albanian's son had caused, leaving a minor seriously injured, and they had introduced themselves as police officers who would lighten the charge for the boy, asking for the amount of assigned.

The police of Thira have used the footage they have provided from the cameras of the area, they have identified the foreign fraudsters, among them two women, and very soon they were set on fire and put in handcuffs.

They found 98,500 euros attributed to the 63-year-old woman, while the four Bulgarians were sent to the Naxos Prosecutor's Office with the file filed against them for criminal organization and fraud in cooperation.

It all started last Friday, when the 63-year-old received a call from an unknown woman who introduced herself as a police officer and demanded a large sum of money, allegedly to avoid legal consequences for her son who caused an accident car where a minor child was seriously injured. The woman followed her instructions and placed the money in a trash can she pointed to. However, the fraud was discovered and an investigation was launched that resulted in the ring being dismantled, Greek media reports.
