The director of the Tirana Police, Tonin Vocaj, has spoken about the investigations being carried out into the violence against lawyer Sokol Mêngjesi.

From the statement to the media, Vocaj said that the search for the other persons who are on the run is currently continuing. He emphasized that the research is not only in Tirana, but throughout Albania.

"As we have announced, the Tirana Police for the morning event has carried out quick investigative actions and made it possible to arrest the two main perpetrators. The searches for the capture of other persons continue, our searches have been in Tirana, the searches have been extended throughout Albania, and we hope that we will have quick concrete results that lead to the arrest and bringing to justice even these individuals" , said Vocaj.
