The father of the deceased 14-year-old, Martin Cani, who was killed near the “Fan Noli” school in Tirana, has reiterated the call for justice for the serious incident that took his son’s life. In a Skype call on the “Me Zemër të Hapur” show on News24, Çngjëll Cani revealed that his youngest son, Henri, is still unaware of the tragic loss of his brother.

"We are in a serious psychological state. The bride has withdrawn into herself and we need the help of a psychologist. Henri does not yet know that his brother has passed away, because his health condition may worsen," he said.

He also noted that Luis, Martin's close friend who was seriously injured, is still in a state of shock months after the incident. "Luiz has been back from Italy for some time and is undergoing therapy, but he is scared and it is not known if he has returned to school," he added.

Angel Cani stressed that they will protest every 18th, emphasizing that their cause is not political. He expressed dissatisfaction with the negligence and lack of support from institutions, including the teacher and the school principal.

"We demand justice and that all Albanian children be protected. No one has come to apologize, except for the delays that hurt us a lot. God is great, and this pain that I have, no one else should have to experience," he concluded.
