New details have been revealed regarding the shipwreck discovered in the territory of the village of Karpen. The vessel left north of Bari, Italy, on September 9, bound for Croatia. Initially, the sailing was regular, but then the movements of the ship became erratic and without command. The vessel was found in Albanian waters on September 10, but due to bad weather, the control inside the ship was carried out on September 11.

A German passport was found inside the boat in the name of FR, 85 years old, who is suspected to be the owner of the boat. Until now, the 85-year-old is missing and it is thought that he may have fallen into the sea due to high waves.

Interpol is conducting verifications on the identity of the missing person and data is being collected to understand if he had other people on board during the departure from Italy. The Albanian police contacted the son of the elderly man, who stated that he had not contacted his father for a month. Investigations continue to clarify this mysterious event.
