Dumani does not accept that the SP puts pressure on SPAK: We are oriented only

The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, has denied the accusations that the majority exerts pressure on the Special Prosecutor's Office.

While speaking at the Laws Commission, Dumani said that SPAK is deaf to any kind of political rhetoric and that they are responsible only in front of the law.

"Regarding the political pressure, to make it clear, we have institutional and procedural relations with all officials and former officials. We are deaf to any kind of political rhetoric. We are oriented and responsible only in front of the law", he said.

We recall that Dumani himself asserted the influence that SPAK exerts on GJKKO in terms of decisions on court hearings, when he said that they decide what the Special Prosecutor's Office requires.

"...as I said that every case of innocence is appealed by the prosecutors and the courts decide what we ask for, even in relation to the guilty declaration of the subjects we send for retrial" , he said.
