January 3 will be an official holiday for the state administration.
The decision was taken by the Council of Ministers this afternoon.
"According to the announcement, the working day, dated 3.1.2025, will be replaced by one of the rest days within the first half of 2025.
In support of articles 95, point 2, and 100, of the Constitution, upon the proposal of the Prime Minister, the Council of Ministers decided: "The designation of Friday, date 3.1.2025, a day off for state administration employees ," the government decision states.
