Journalist: This is how Valentina punished me at the age of 14 for knocking down

Journalist Telnis Skuqi has narrated a story from his childhood when Valentina Teodorescu punished him at the age of 14 after carelessly knocking down the plaster bust of dictator Enver Hoxha.

In a post on Facebook, the journalist writes that at that time he was playing football with his childhood friend, but a wrong deflection of the ball caused Hoxha's torso to collapse. At the time, this was called an unacceptable offense that led to the conviction of two 14-year-olds.

HE writes that it was Valentina who investigated the "crime" and who convicted the two minors.

We remind you that this same lawyer was appointed by GJKKO to defend the leader of the Democrats Sali Berisha in the political process for the privatization of the former Partizani complex.

I have forgiven my "lawyer", Merkur, and even the president of the court, M. Progonati, who was more diligent than my investigator, but never Valentina Shehu, who compiled my criminal file in detail with Article 55 of the Criminal Code and set in motion the justice system of the time.

I still to this day do not understand how I got into a legal system that did not legally belong to me.

The cause was an unexpected childish incident, which was exaggerated by the then justice system.

An inaccurately kicked soccer ball by my childhood friend, Ilir Kakaçi, shattered the plaster bust of the dictator, because I, as the goalkeeper, did not react quickly enough to divert the round sphere that had started on the wrong trajectory.

Unfortunately that day I lost my childhood and my dreams.

Someone had to be held accountable.

My friend and I were hit.

A great trial took place on May 17, 1989, on the third floor of the Children's Home in Saranda.

My investigator was Valentina, the institution made the denunciation, while the witnesses against me and him (Kakaçi) were our educators. Horror!

My family biography was declassified, while my friend's biography was even more difficult, which made the work of the intern investigator easy before the jury.

My friend and I were sentenced with a final decision, but due to their age, the two orphans were sent to the Re-education School in Zejmen, Lezha.

The punishment of me and my friend was not well received by the party leaders at the local level.

My and my friend's case went very high, so high that the President of that time, Ramiz Alia, signed a special pardon decree just for the two of us, because, according to the regime, the red line had been crossed, sorry Valentina.

"We don't punish children", Alia said then.

Personally, I do not wish to prejudice the New Justice, but for me it is important to remember history and work towards a society where justice is independent and the basic rights of all citizens are respected, regardless of the social and social status that each individual represents.
