Llagami denies bargaining with Bushka for appointments to the Constitutional Court: These are fabricated communications

Llagami denies bargaining with Bushka for appointments to the Constitutional

The former president of the High Judicial Council, Naureda Llagami, has reacted for the first time after the publication of several conversations between her and Socialist MP, Klotilda Bushka, where they bargained for appointments to the Constitutional Court.

Through a statement, Llagami writes that the leaked conversations between her and Bushka are fabricated and, according to her, were distributed by the same person who has been stalking her on social media.

Llagami claims that this person was prosecuted for false reporting, at the time when she held the position of President of the Supreme Court.

"Dear friends, colleagues, associates, media representatives, citizens, I feel it necessary to react again to some articles published against me.

Their content includes electronic communications with Ms. Bushka that never occurred but were fabricated, a fact that is easily verifiable. They were distributed anonymously in various media outlets by the same person who has been continuously harassing me on social platforms “Linkedin, Facebook” for the past year, posting materials that openly and seriously harm my image and reputation.

This person has also fabricated imaginary communications to influence the system, for which he was criminally prosecuted for "false reporting" and "falsification of documents", and suspended by the Supreme Court (during the time I was the president of the Supreme Court).

I appreciate the need to provide this clarification, as in the 5 years that I have led the Supreme Court of Justice, I have tried, together with my colleagues, to create a different model of governance of the judicial system.

"For all that I explained above, I will follow the legal path," Llagami declares.
