Part of a structured criminal group in Italy, 24-year-old Albanian arrested

Albanian police have arrested a young man who was wanted as part of a criminal group that was cracked down on by Italian authorities.

As part of the international operation codenamed "SACRIPANTE.AL", Klinder Luka, 24, was arrested.

The Venice Court has issued an arrest warrant for this citizen, on suspicion of committing criminal offenses in the field of narcotics, within the framework of a structured criminal group.

" As a result of the investigations and operational actions, carried out in coordination with Italian partners, within the framework of a criminal proceeding, initiated by the Venice Prosecutor's Office, the Criminal Groups Investigation Sector in the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime, in the Criminal Police Department, in the DPPSh, in cooperation with the Lezha DVP, with the Italian Interforce Office in Albania, with the Italian Security Expert Office and with the Venice Carabinieri, developed in Albania, the international anti-drug operation, codenamed "SACRIPANTE.AL".

During the operation, Albanian citizen Klinder Luka, 24 years old, was located and provisionally arrested, to be extradited to Italy.

The Venice Court has issued an arrest warrant for this citizen, on suspicion of committing criminal offenses in the field of narcotics, within the framework of a structured criminal group, according to the provisions of articles 81, 110 and 73 of the Italian Criminal Code , "the police announce.

During the "SACRIPANTE" operation, 10 citizens were arrested in Italy. Interpol Tirana is cooperating with its counterparts for the extradition of the arrested citizen to Italy.
