Lawyer Ylli Manjani commented on Prime Minister Edi Rama's statements this Wednesday in relation to the arrest of the mayor, Erion Veliaj, and the investigation against the chairwoman of the Laws Commission, Klotilda Bushka.

While reminding the prime minister of the fate of dozens of people who are behind bars without ever being questioned, Manjani, through a status on social media, emphasizes that the prime minister should not rave about arrests without evidence or trial, but rather draft democratic laws, not laws that allow arbitrary decisions.

The detention center is full of people who were never questioned before being arrested. At least Klotilda Bushka is free and without security measures.
