European Political Community Summit, Tirana administration on holiday on May 15

The Council of Ministers today designated May 15 and 16, 2025 as days off for employees of state administration institutions, headquartered in the territories of the municipalities of Tirana, Kamzë, Vorë and Krujë.

Exceptions to this decision are employees of the Armed Forces, the State Police, the Guard of the Republic, the fire service and employees of the healthcare system.

According to the government's decision, the working day of May 15 and 16, 2025, for employees of state administration institutions, will be replaced by days off within 2025.

Government decision:

DESIGNATING THE DATES OF MAY 15 AND 16, 2025 AS HOLIDAYS FOR EMPLOYEES OF SOME STATE ADMINISTRATION INSTITUTIONS

In accordance with Articles 95, point 2, and 100, of the Constitution, upon the proposal of the Prime Minister, the Council of Ministers

DECIDED:

1. Designating May 15 and 16, 2025 as days off for employees of state administration institutions, headquartered in the territories of the municipalities of Tirana, Kamzë, Vorë and Krujë, with the exception of the Armed Forces, the State Police, the Republic Guard, the fire service and employees of the health system.

2. The working day of May 15 and 16, 2025, for employees of state administration institutions, according to point 1 of this decision, will be replaced by days off within the year 2025.

3. The state administration institutions mentioned in point 1 are responsible for the implementation of this decision.

This decision enters into force upon publication in the "Official Gazette".
