The tourist season brings back HACKERS, targeting Saranda and Ksamili

Along with the summer season, hackers are back. The latter have targeted the hotels of 2 of the countries that are overflowing with tourists, Saranda and Ksamil.

Hackers steal credit card data and empty bank accounts. Kasim Cule, IT expert and network maintainer, tells Saranda Web about the theft scheme and gives suggestions on how to protect yourself from these scams.

Kasim Cule explains that hackers, after finding their target through Booking, send e-mails and links to booking applications.

Kasim Cule advises owners, system managers and receptionists that in any case they see such an email, do not click on the link or folder sent, as immediately after clicking you have submitted to the hackers all the related system data with credit cards, your computer will be blocked and hackers have all the time they need to empty bank accounts.

Only in the last few days, according to the expert, several hotels in Saranda and Ksamil have fallen prey to fraud, something that creates uncertainty and mistrust among hotel customers.
