A guard at a facility in Vlora is executed by gunfire

A 58-year-old man was found shot to death in the city of Vlora. He worked as a security guard at a building that was under construction.

"Around 06:00, in the "Hajro Çakërri" neighborhood, on the street, near his apartment, a 58-year-old man was found without signs of life, suspected of being shot dead, who was employed as a guard at a building under construction near his apartment.

"A special investigative group has been established and, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, intensive investigations are continuing to clarify the circumstances and secure evidence, with the aim of legally documenting the event, identifying and capturing the perpetrator(s)," the police announced.
