The Tirana police have arrested two people, as they are suspected of distributing narcotics.

One citizen was arrested in Laprakë, while the other in Kodra e Diellit. These people allegedly distributed the drug in the neighborhood, selling it in doses.

Two cases of the sale of narcotics, in doses, were hit by the Narcotics Investigation Sector in cooperation with the "Shqiponja" Special Force Sector.

2 citizens who practiced this criminal activity were arrested, doses of cannabis narcotics, ready for sale, and two mobile devices were seized.

The Services of the Narcotics Investigation Sector in cooperation with the "Shqiponja" Special Force Sector, following operational actions carried out within the framework of the nationwide anti-drug police mega-operation, coded "Temple 3", after having provided information on 2 citizens who were selling cannabis narcotics, in doses, have organized the work to capture and bring them to criminal responsibility.

As a result of the checks carried out:

▪️ in Laprakë, an "Audi" type vehicle was found with a 30-year-old AT citizen as its driver, which during the physical check the Police services found and seized quantities of suspected narcotic substance cannabis;

▪️ in the vicinity of the Hill of the Sun, the citizen MH, 30 years old, was found, who during the physical check, the Police services found and seized quantities of suspected narcotic cannabis.

Following the actions, they were arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics", provided by article 283 of the Criminal Code.

From the verifications carried out, it was found that these citizens procured the narcotic substance in quantity and then divided it into doses, which they sold in different neighborhoods of Tirana.

As material evidence, doses of cannabis narcotics, ready for sale, and two mobile devices were seized.

The materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office," the police announced.
