Albania can be declared safe by Covid-19. Cheap to travel to the EU?

Albania, Serbia and Northern Macedonia can be declared safe countries and citizens can travel freely to the European Union.

So reports Radio Free Europe , which adds that Portugal, which holds the EU presidency, is compiling a list of countries whose data show that they are safe in terms of coronavirus figures.

The ambassadors of EU member states will discuss the issue on Wednesday and decide whether or not to allow Albanians to travel freely to the EU.

To secure the status of a safe country, it must record a maximum of 75 coronavirus-positive cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days.
