OSHEE reacted after the electricity was cut off for about 40 minutes in Tirana and several other cities of the country.

The distribution operator states that the energy was interrupted due to the failure of the 400kV system of OST.

OSHEE Notice:  


Due to the failure of the OST 400kV system, at 12:20 p.m., substations around the country were left without electricity.

Currently, maneuvers are underway to restore power to the 110kV substations of OST, and successively to the 35kV substations of DSO.

 At present, the substations Selitë, Traktora, Kendra have received electricity. Work is being done at a high pace to stabilize the situation.
