SPAK closes the investigations for the Fier incinerator with 21 defendants,

The Special Prosecutor's Office has closed the investigations into the Fier incinerator, while the charges against 21 defendants were announced, among them the former deputy of the SP, Alqi Ballko and the former minister Lefter Koka.

"Passive corruption of high state officials or local elected officials" twice, in connection with the irregular monetary value obtained indirectly in the form of payment for the fictitious employment of his father, Edmon Blako, in the amount of 14,964,900 lek, as well as the irregular benefit received directly in the form of payments for his private trips abroad, made by the main shareholder of the concession company "Integrated Technology Services" , the file states.

According to SPAK investigations, 4 million euros were paid to the Fier incinerator for work that was never performed, while 60 million lek is the damage caused to the state budget in the fraud scheme. After the investigation is closed, the opinions of the lawyers are awaited and then GJKKO will decide whether the case will go to trial or not.
