For the week ahead, our country will be affected by a "normal" winter week as a result of a deep center of low pressure that affects not only our country but also most of Europe.

There will be no shortage of rainy days, snowfall in the mountainous regions, while along the western lowlands there will also be sunny days (short-term clearings).

According to the Military Meteorological Service, for Monday the weather is expected to be medium to dense cloudiness with short-term sunny intervals mainly along the low-lying areas. The cloudiness will be accompanied by short-term low-intensity rainfall, while in the northwest and south areas, low to medium-intensity rainfall.

Locally and in very short periods in these areas, precipitation with up to and high intensity in the form of thunderstorms accompanied by electrical discharges. In mountainous reliefs at altitudes above 700-800 meters, snowfall with locally low average intensity.

Also for Tuesday, the weather is forecasted with medium to dense cloudiness and short-term sunny intervals. Occasional rainfall with low intensity and locally to moderate in most of the territory. In the mountainous reliefs at altitudes above 700-800 meters snowfall with low intensity locally moderate.

Starting from Wednesday, the weather will be mainly clear with alternating periods of cloudiness, which in the northern and central areas will be accompanied by low-intensity rainfall. While for Thursday and Friday, the weather will be mainly clear with alternating periods of cloudiness.
