A 58-year-old man has ended his life by jumping from the height of a building in Tirana.
The incident took place near Tegu. The 58-year-old man, who was suspected of suffering from depression, died in hospital.
"On 19.01.2025, near Tegu, it is suspected that citizen LK, 58 years old, committed suicide by jumping from the height of a building, and died in hospital.
Preliminary investigations show that citizen LK suffered from mental health issues and it is suspected that he jumped from a height as a result of depression.
"The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office is working to clarify the circumstances of the case ," the announcement states.
