Uniforms and shoes for the police, 27 million euro tender opens

The purchase of uniforms and shoes for the State Police is expected to cost at least 27 million euros.

The Centralized Purchasing Operator announced this Monday the opening of the respective procedure where the limit fund is a total of 2.7 billion lek, of which the largest share of 1.9 billion is occupied by uniforms and the rest by shoes. Referring to the documents made public, the necessary quantity for each of the items as well as the delivery deadlines are also specified.

"Production should be organized in such a way that the supply of uniforms to police officers is carried out according to the summer or winter seasons, in order to cover needs in a timely manner. The delivery of summer uniform items should be carried out no later than May 1 of each year and the delivery of winter uniforms should be carried out no later than October 1 of each year."

The time limit for the execution of the first contract to be signed within the Framework Agreement will be no less than 60 days and no more than 150 days from the conclusion of the contract. In any case, the quantities requested in the first cantata will not be more than 50% of the expected quantities of the first year," it is stated in the documents accompanying the procedure.

Regarding guarantees, the contracting authority underlines that the delivery of the goods must be accompanied by the relevant declaration. The economic operator must officially declare that the warranty period for the items it will supply will be 1 year for items with a shelf life of 1 year and at least 2 years for items with a shelf life of over 2 years.

The winning economic operator, before the start of production, must submit two physical models of each item that must comply with all the requirements of the CA. This model, which will be accompanied by an analysis sheet, will go through an evaluation phase and will be approved as the official prototype with which the final product will be compared.
