A tragic event shook the capital today, when a 14-year-old boy lost his life after a fight between teenagers near the 9-year-old "Fan Noli" school. The victim, identified by the initials MC, was stabbed in the heart and died in hospital. Another 14-year-old, LM, was injured and is receiving medical treatment.

A student of the "Fan Noli" school, in the seventh grade, witnessed the event and told Top Channel the terrible moment. He said that after finishing school and going home, he saw several young men covered in blood and immediately left the scene. He said he did not know the juveniles involved in the fight and had no way of recognizing them by face.

The event happened only 150 meters away from the "Fan Noli" school, after the end of the lesson. The victim and the injured were part of Dinamo's U15 team, and had played a match the day before against Besa e Kavaja.

Investigations into this serious event are continuing, while public opinion has been shocked by this act of violence among teenagers.
