Fatmir Tarellari, the 50-year-old who killed his brother-in-law Erjon Pelivani, has requested freedom from prison.

Tarellar was remanded in custody on January 22, after a week of house arrest. The 50-year-old is kept in a special ward in the prisons of Larissa, not with prisoners with serious sentences, while he maintains contact with his three children almost every day.

The murder happened after he learned from his 18-year-old daughter that the 33-year-old brother of his second wife had been raping her since the age of 9 and had recently blackmailed her by publishing intimate videos.

"My daughter told me that when she was raped, there was also my little son, who is now nine years old and whom the brother-in-law left alone in the other room while he closed the door of the room where my daughter was with him ," said the father in the testimony. .
