Kurti in Switzerland: Serbia refuses to sign the agreed basic agreement
During his two-day visit to Switzerland, the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, was invited by the Swiss Society for Foreign Policy for an address and discussion with the foreign policy editor of NZZ, Andreas Ernst.
In this meeting, Kurti spoke about the challenges in relations with Serbia and the dialogue process mediated by the European Union.
The Prime Minister's Office announced that Kurti highlighted Serbia's refusal to sign the Agreed Framework Agreement and its Implementation Annex, highlighting a series of ongoing violations by Serbia, including the letter from former Serbian Prime Minister Ana Bernabic.
"As long as its authoritarian elite continues to spread disinformation, mobilize troops along our border and refuse to prosecute the terrorists who killed our police sergeant a year ago in Basnjka i Zvecan, Serbia will always pose a major security risk not only of Kosovo, but also of other neighboring countries that hinder the project of "Greater Serbia", which they now call "Serbian world", namely Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina are being harassed in addition to Kosovo", stated Kurti in his speech.
