The number of Serbian terrorists killed in the north of Kosovo has reached three. The news is announced by the Police through an announcement, where it is said that another attacker has also been arrested.

It is also learned that it was possible to capture four other suspects, who were found in possession of radio communications.

The police also announce the identification of a significant amount of weapons, ammunition and various equipment.

The Kosovo Police continues to call on "criminal groups to surrender to the justice authorities".

In the area of ​​the village of Banjska, the security situation continues to remain tense, as well as the attacks with firearms against police units are continuing with the same intensity, depending on the movements of criminal groups.

Police actions are being carried out according to plans and developments on the ground, responding in self-defense to attacks directed at police officials, whose lives are being endangered.

According to official information from the field during the exchange of fire, the killing of two other attackers, who were masked, uniformed and heavily armed, is confirmed, and the arrest of a uniformed and armed attacker is also confirmed. As a result of the attacks, a KP police officer suffered mostly minor injuries.

During the police actions in a residential location which was used by the attackers, logistical equipment, suspected military vehicles, military uniforms as well as weapons and ammunition of different calibers were found.

Likewise, police units during the exercise of a routine checkpoint of vehicles, in the area of ​​the village of Rudare, detained four suspects who were found in illegal possession of radios, who are suspected of being related to criminal groups, where all further actions against will be undertaken in cooperation and coordination with the justice bodies.

Official information so far confirms the killing of three attackers, the arrest of one attacker, the arrest of four suspects who were found in possession of radio communications, as well as the identification of a significant amount of weapons, ammunition and various equipment.

The Kosovo Police continues to call on the criminal groups to surrender to the justice authorities and at the same time invites the citizens to cooperate with the law enforcement agencies, in the interest of calming the situation and general security.

The investigation and examination of the scene is continuing in cooperation and coordination with all relevant institutions, including the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo.
