Naim Murseli's statement in court is revealed, his accomplice reveals it

"I am completely innocent," declared Naim Murseli in today's court session, accused of murdering his wife, Liridona Ademaj.

The other defendants have also pleaded not guilty or have chosen not to plead, except for Tom Dodajt, who pleaded guilty.

He is charged with the criminal offense of "Unauthorized import, export, supply, transportation, production, exchange, brokerage or sale of weapons or explosive materials."

Tomë Dodaj had sold the weapon with which Granit Plava committed the murder of Liridona Ademaj on November 29, 2023, to Naim Murseli for 280 euros.

Liridona Ademaj was murdered on November 29, 2023. The incident, initially reported as a robbery, raised many suspicions and major reactions from the public. Two days later, authorities arrested two people. Among them was Liridona's husband, Naim Murseli.

The prosecution accused Murseli of the criminal offense of "complicity in murder", Granit Plava of the offense of "murder" and Kushtrim Kokalla of the offense of "agreement to commit murder".

The identity of the fourth accused, Tomë Dodajt, was later made public.
