Campaign rhetoric: Is Rama crossing the red line?

On April 12, the Socialist Party fired up the engines of the electoral campaign for the parliamentary elections to be held on May 11. From Skanderbeg Square with parties and music, without a program, Rama promised very little and focused on attacks on the opposition.

Since the start of the electoral meetings, the rhetoric that the leader of the Socialists has used has been offensive, discriminatory and denigrating not only towards political opponents, but also towards citizens.

The Prime Minister has targeted democratic men by labeling them with the terms "stupid" , "half-hearted" , and "autistic" .

'Men... are stupid'

At an electoral meeting, he said that all those men who support the Socialist Party are capable, while those who join the Democratic Party are cowards.

"I say that those men, who, like the vast majority of women, support the Socialist Party, are not only capable, but also open-minded and politically wise. While those men who sit and gossip in the swamp, may be very capable in their work, but for me they are sycophants. Politically sycophants. Nobody needs them ," declared Rama.

Rama did not apologize for this statement, but had to make a Rama-esque clarification to say that he had nothing personal with the men, but that he wanted to show the massive support that the SP receives from women.

'Half of the men in Dibra are gypsies'

He took the insults and insults from the south to the north, where during an electoral meeting in Peshkopi, he called the men from Dibra "scoundrels".

"Just imagine something like you leaving Albania for a month and leaving your men behind, when you return you will find some people with tails in Peshkopi. Half of the men are normal in this country, half are idiots," Rama said at the Dibra rally.

As a reminder, the prime minister should know that in fact there are no more men in Debar, not because they are cowards, but because they have chosen the path of emigration, as the only solution that his government offered them for their future and that of their children.

The same rhetoric in Kamëz

Even from Kamza, the refrain of the speech was the same: Albanian men are sycophants. In addition to the jargon used, the socialist leader lectured women on how to vote for the SP.

“Duhet të punoni dhe bashkëpunoni me gratë demokrate, të cilat e kuptojnë shumë mirë sepse kanë shumë më të shpejtë kalimin nga politika në realitet, nuk e kanë si burrat. Burrat kur janë tifozë janë çyryk, nuk shohin. Shohin ngjyrën e fanellës, ulen pijnë raki dhe bëjnë tifo.  Nëse ka vajza që kanë simpatizantë demokratë, duhet t’ju bëjnë provën e karakterit për në Europë apo në kënetë. Nëse të thotë hajde në kënetë, si i thua ti? Ti e kupton që ai nuk është mirë, i thua hajt se po të marrë nesër dhe të shkoj të mbytet vetë. Nuk e kuptoj dot si mundet një njeri normal të çohet në mëngjes, të vishet dhe të zbukurohet dhe të mbajë radhë për të çuar votën në kënetë”, deklaroi Rama nga Kamza.

Për vota, Rama nxit përçarje edhe mes çifteve

Absurditeti dhe marrëzia e Ramës arritën deri në pikën sa u kërkonte vajzave e grave të ndahen nga partnerët, në rast se këta të fundit, janë demokratë. Kryeministri nuk u kursye aspak në çmendurinë e tij.

“Ju mund të keni shokë, mund të keni simpatizantë, ose edhe pak më shumë intimitet me çuna që nuk janë të bindur që duhet të votojnë Partinë Socialiste. Duhet t’i bindni, duhet t’u thoni: ‘Do vish të votosh bashkë me mua, se do marrim të dy pasaportën, do shkojmë’. Nëse ata ju thonë që do votojnë për bufin e kënetës, nuk ia vlejnë. Lërini. Mos i shihni më me sy, dënojini, mos ia varni fare”, tha Rama.

Rama ofendon fëmijët e spektrit autik

Duket se Ramës i ka dalë situata nga kontrolli, ndërsa rroket të nxisë qytetarët ta votojnë. Gafa më e madhe që deri tani Rama ka bërë në fushatën e 11 majit, është ofendimi që i drejtoi të gjithë personave të spektrit autik ose persona me aftësi të veçanta.

Teksa sulmonte opozitën, Rama tha se ata që zgjedhin të votojnë PD-në, janë autikë.

“Paguajtën lekët e dynjasë për të paguar Latifin. Më hidhen mua pse them gjysma e burrave janë çyrykë. Po ça të them, e them si metaforë, nuk është raport klinik. Për mua kush shkon në kënetë është gjysmak. Të zgjedhësh midis BE dhe kënetës, kënetën dmth nuk je mirë, politikisht je autik, s’je mirë”, tha Rama.

Dje, pak para mesnate, kryeministrit që kishte marrë një mori mesazhesh në inbox dhe reagime publike në media, iu desh të bënte një ‘mea culpa’.

“Nuk mund të mos e ndaja dot këtë reflektim. Të gabosh është njerëzore, ndërsa të mos kërkosh ndjesë nuk është burrërore. Krejt pa dashje sot kam cënuar fëmijët autikë dhe me siguri kam lënduar prindërit e tyre duke folur për autizëm politik, shprehje që më ka mbetur diku në mendje se është përdorur edhe në literaturën politike, akademike dhe më doli sot krejt padashje. Por, ja u desh të gaboja dhe pastaj të mësoja, se prej vitesh konsiderohet e papërshtatshme dhe në fakt me plot të drejtë”, deklaroi Rama.

Fyerje ndaj Eno Bozdos

Shënjestër e ofendimeve të Ramës u bë edhe kandidati për deputet në Berat, Eno Bozdo. Këtij të fundit, Rama iu drejtua si një ‘qyp arkeologjik’ që as për fatorino nuk e marrin.

And what for Eno. Even though Rama sees the use of terms that offend, affect and hurt specific categories, as a symbolism, in fact they are a jargon that does not suit someone who is seeking a fourth mandate in government ," Rama said.

In his Facebook posts, Rama has chosen to sometimes play the role of the prime minister who supposedly cries out for the people's troubles, and sometimes to come out in his origins to vent and offend voters.

Rama has chosen to conduct the campaign that he said would focus more on integration with 'shy' and 'half-hearted' people who applaud his insults in droves. The use of denigrating rhetoric has crossed Rama's red line.

The only 'stupid' person who doesn't understand this is precisely him... Rama!
