In the film, Jason played a barbarian warrior seeking revenge against an evil warlord who attacked his village and killed his father when he was a child. Despite the fact that Jason didn't appreciate the way the film turned out, he says he still really enjoyed making it.

And while he didn't specify what exactly happened after filming wrapped, the film wasn't well received on the profit front either. The film only brought in $63.5 million worldwide despite a $90 million budget. To prevent this from happening again, Jason says he now has an interest in investing in all parts of his films, starting with the script writing. The latest film he wrote, "The Last Manhunt", will be released in cinemas this year but still without a specific date.
