Jason Momoa reveals his worst movie
Jason Momoa is not the biggest fan of all his work despite the fact that he is already known around the world as Aquaman. In fact, Jason says he's been a part of many projects that didn't turn out the way he envisioned, but one film really stands out above the rest.
In an interview for "British GQ" he stated that:
I have been a part of many things that are really not where they should be and especially some of the movies where not everything is in your hands. Specifically, "Conan the Barbarian" was one of them.
In the film, Jason played a barbarian warrior seeking revenge against an evil warlord who attacked his village and killed his father when he was a child. Despite the fact that Jason didn't appreciate the way the film turned out, he says he still really enjoyed making it.
It's one of the best experiences I've had, it took over and turned into something really bad.
And while he didn't specify what exactly happened after filming wrapped, the film wasn't well received on the profit front either. The film only brought in $63.5 million worldwide despite a $90 million budget. To prevent this from happening again, Jason says he now has an interest in investing in all parts of his films, starting with the script writing. The latest film he wrote, "The Last Manhunt", will be released in cinemas this year but still without a specific date.
