It has often been commented in foreign media that Ronaldo's mother interferes in his son's life. Apparently she is again against her son's marriage, as she did with Russian model Irina Shayk, now she is also acting with Cristiano's girlfriend, Georgina.

Dolores Aveiro does not want to see her son marry her current partner, Georgina Rodriguez, as she believes the model of Argentine origin is attracted by money and not by feelings.

Ronaldo himself seems to be very happy with Georgina, they have a daughter together and Georgina takes care of his three other children.

Media reports claim that a source close to Cristiano Ronaldo says Aveiro believes the couple should not get married as Georgina's motivation for doing so is to take advantage of her son's money. Apparently, the other children of the family feel the same way as the mother, which means that the opposition of wedding bells within the groom's family is strong.
