A news anchor in a British media outlet falsely reported the death of Pope Francis on Christmas day.
According to the Daily Mail , journalist and speaker Kylie Pentelow mistakenly announced the Pope's death while he was reporting his speech. Pentelow was explaining how the Pope begged world leaders to make vaccines available to those most in need.
The speaker further continued the sentence by saying "his death was announced", but understood her wrong statement and apologized quickly.
Francesco prayed yesterday to end the coronavirus pandemic, using his Christmas day speech to promote health care for all, vaccines for the poor, and for dialogue to prevail in resolving world conflict.
