DP asked to remove his mandate, Vullnet Sinaj: I have not benefited from the

The Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party has requested to remove the mandate of the Socialist MP, Vullnet Sinaj. PD claims that Sinai has received income from the State Budget, worth several million ALL, through its 9 private companies.

Sinaj reacted with a post on Facebook, where he wrote that he did not benefit from the state budget for the period when he was a deputy, nor when he was elected as such.

Sinaj says that he resigned from his businesses in 2017 and that he made the transfer of company quotas in accordance with the law.

"I learned with surprise and not without humor, the request for a motion by the Democratic Party to remove my mandate as a representative of the Socialist Party in the Assembly of the Republic of Albania.

The media offenders repeat this song from 2017. But the surprise is that the rumors of the portals are used by the opposition, turning them into political acts.

For the above, I declare with full responsibility:

- Pursuant to Article 70, point 3 of the Constitution, from 2017 I resigned from the administration of all my businesses, devoting myself only to politics.

- With the decisions filed in the CKB in 2017, I decided to transfer all the quotas of the companies, according to the laws in force.

- I have not benefited from the state budget a single lek, neither when I was not a deputy, nor when I was elected a deputy.

Moreover, for years, I have been donating the monthly salary of the deputy to help people in need, and I don't even think of benefiting financially from the state budget" , writes Sinaj.
