The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in a statement to the media, stressed that there was direct interference from the highest levels of government, trying to change the report that international observers had prepared for the elections. However, he is convinced that these efforts will not succeed, and that the final report will be enriched with much more evidence and documents proving the violations and manipulations that occurred during the elections.

Berisha : I have great faith in the integrity of the observers, their professionalism, their competence.
But what I have said is absolutely true.
Monstrous efforts have been made to put great pressure on them for nothing other than the report they have written.
Interventions have been made at the highest levels by telephone and various means, but again I have great faith in those officials gathered from many countries, including parliamentarians of the three main international institutions, that Edi Rama will never be able to dictate or change their report, on the contrary, we will enrich that report with hundreds and hundreds of documents.
And I have great faith because there are indeed people for whom the vote does not matter, but these are a minority of the minority of the minority.
Overall, in free countries, the vote is the foundation of the rule of law, the foundation of human freedoms.
