The first reaction from the Democratic Party comes after the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku, announced that the Llogara tunnel will be opened to vehicle traffic  starting tomorrow (Saturday) .

In a post on social media, the head of the DP parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, writes that this act is a pure corrupt affair, where the value of the construction was increased by millions of euros.

According to him, there is evidence, including public testimony from one of the participants in the meeting, that the fictitious Turkish company was predetermined as the winner in a meeting in Ankara, Turkey, held on June 3, 2021, 21 days before the re-announcement of the tender.

Gazment Bardhi's post:

Belinda Balluku has returned to the scene of the crime and announced the reopening of the Llogara Tunnel. This is a pure corrupt affair, where the value of the construction was increased by millions of euros, which were transferred to a Turkish company, which was predetermined by Balluku and which results in official documents that it has not carried out any work.
