"Internationalists have incited unrest in the north", Kurti dismisses

The acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, today dismissed the Deputy Minister of Local Government Administration, Arbër Vokrri.

This decision comes after statements made yesterday in the media by Vokrri, where he accused diplomats and representatives of international institutions of involvement in the tense developments in northern Kosovo.

In particular, Vokrri has mentioned by name the European Union Ambassador to Kosovo, Aivo Orav, accusing him and others of actions that, according to him, have incited unrest in that part of the country.

The statement said that Vokrri's statements do not represent the positions of the Government.

Arbër Vokrri, Deputy Minister of Local Government, said on KTV's "60 Minutes" show on Thursday that the international side itself incited the unrest.
