Murder of Albanian in Greece, suspected perpetrator arrested, how he fell into

Greek authorities have arrested the suspected perpetrator of the murder of 41-year-old Albanian Altin Arapaj in Rafina, who was found dead yesterday near a vineyard.

According to information , it is a 46-year-old man, also of Albanian origin, identified as Mikel Selimaj. According to information, the suspected perpetrator was found by authorities in a rented apartment in the early hours of the morning in the Glyka Nera area and arrested.

Before he died, the victim had called his wife and mentioned the man who had shot him in the face.

The owner of the apartment where the 46-year-old lived tried to contact him by knocking on the door, but received no answer. The woman became concerned that the man might have lost consciousness and tried to open the door, but without success. She immediately notified the Police, stating that there might be an emergency.

Police arrived at the scene and rang the doorbell for about 20 minutes. Finally, the 46-year-old man opened the door, under the influence of drugs. Police immediately recognized him from the photo they had available and handcuffed him.

The victim's wife contacted authorities, reporting that she received a call from the 41-year-old man, who allegedly got out of the vehicle and ran away before he could call her. He told her that he had been shot in the face.

"Help, I've been shot in the head by ..., find out where I am!" he allegedly told her.
