The investigation file for Operation "Ura" has revealed shocking new details about a sophisticated international drug trafficking network based in Albania and branches in Italy. At the center of this network, through interceptions of communications in the SKY ECC application, citizen Gertin Aliu appears to have an active role, who, according to the Prosecution, has collaborated closely with key figures of the criminal organization, such as Adi Çoba (alias Bazholi), Orges Molla (Gesi) and Ervis Deti (Visi).

"I have a conversation to consume" - The wiretaps that sink Gertin Aliu
In a series of telephone and environmental wiretaps obtained by Albanian and Italian authorities, clear conversations emerge about the orders of narcotics, the method of transportation through the Durrës-Bari line, as well as the payments that were made for the cargo. In one of these conversations, Gertin Aliu is heard saying to Ervis Deti:

"I'll come to see you in the afternoon, because I haven't been in Durrës these days… because I have a conversation to discuss."
The conversation dated 08.05.2022 shows that Ervis Deti had just met with Gesi, and immediately afterwards met with Gertin Aliu in the area of ​​Vila e Zogu. TIMS data confirms Deti's movement to Bari by ferry on 08 May 2022, where he stayed until 20 May, during which time he communicated with Gertin Aliu about delivering the narcotics to Italy.

File: "Gesi is in the game, not Spiro"
Another conversation recorded by Italian authorities on 01.06.2022 in Genci Telollari's vehicle shows that Gertin Aliu says:

"It's not that I don't have the money, but for the first time I'm making an effort... Now Gesi has entered the game, not Spiro..."
The wiretaps also reveal conversations mentioning the "1 to 4" charge and mentions of breaking into Gesi's brother-in-law's apartment - another key element of the trafficking network.

Drug delivery and contacts in Italy
In the communications dating from May 10 to 13, 2022, the period when Ervis Deti was in Italy, meetings with "mutual friends" are mentioned, with the ultimate goal of delivering drugs to still unidentified persons outside Albanian territory. Aliu instructs Visi on movements and often refers to "solving the job" with mutual acquaintances.
