Man reports to police: Wife took my son and ran away, I'm asking for help

Gjovalin Mikaj from Boga has reported the disappearance of his wife, Klaudia Hiluku, and their 15-month-old son to the Shkodra Police.

Mikaj says he has lost contact for two days and has no information about their whereabouts.

"I am Gjovalin Mikaj from the village of Boga in Malësia e Madhe. I have a problem, my wife has been missing for two days and she has taken my son. I am not finding a solution even with the police. I have been up almost all night and they have not solved my problem. I am asking for your help to find my son. I do not know if he was able to sell him, I do not know where he is at the moment. I have filed a complaint and neither Malësia e Madhe nor Shkodra have responded to me.

"I kept my son for three months, after he ran away to Italy and left me at the Great Church. I kept him with sacrifices and strength, I would give my life for that boy. I ask you to find my son, I don't love my wife. I don't love her, she never eats bread with me in her life. I only want my son," he said.

In the Mikaj couple, conflicts had been escalating for several months, reaching an absurd situation, where the husband states that he was unaware that his wife had had 3 previous marriages and two daughters.

"The family threw her out, left two daughters in Italy and I was unaware of what happened. She was married three times. I knew about it once, but not three times. She even reported me to the police for beating her, but the court did not take into account the false accusations. I broke up with my father and family because of her. Someone took her and lied to her. But I only want the boy," he said.
