The US military "landed" in Kosovo as part of "Defender Europe

Kosovo hosts the multinational exercise "Defender Europe 25" this year.

The exercise will be carried out at the Babaj Boka military training ground in Gjakova from May 25 to June 6, while several US military personnel have begun the landing of their units.

On these dates, 29 countries with 25,000 troops will conduct a multinational exercise led by the US military.

Ministry of Defense Spokesperson Liridona Gashi says that this exercise aims to demonstrate the power of interaction of multinational states in a joint exercise.

"For us, participation in this international exercise is of particular importance because through this exercise we will be able to demonstrate the combat capabilities of the KSF for the defense of the territory, but also the military support of civil authorities.

"Since it is a multinational exercise, it is also a very good opportunity for our members to increase their capacities and skills in terms of interoperability in such multinational operations," said Gashi.
