Boçi: The elections were annulled, the DP will continue the fight

Democratic Party MP, Luciano Boçi, said that the DP could not win on May 11 due to Rama's annulment of the elections.

Invited to 'Weekend Diary' on A2 CNN, Boçi said that the opposition's fight to restore free voting for Albanians will continue.

"We represent the DP and the result is measured in its entirety. The DP has not been able to achieve success, not through its own fault, but because of the annihilation of the elections in Albania. This is the main problem on which the media and political discourse should be built. The electoral process was destroyed in 2023 and in 2025 it was completely destroyed.

The fight in the DP has been, continues and will continue. We have been in continuous protests for a technical government, we are entering the elections, because a political party cannot leave the system and we are in a fight for the vote. We are in a fight for elections, to achieve free elections.

"So we are not simply for the victory of the DP. So that was our struggle even when we were asking for a technical government. We have not stopped at that part of our demands, what we asked for before the elections, during the elections and what we are asking for now ," said Boçi.
