Killed Altin Arapaj in Greece, 46-year-old testifies: I didn't mean to kill

Mikel Selimaj, the 46-year-old accused of the murder of Altin Arapaj in Greece, testified before the court along with the other two arrested.

The 46-year-old stated that he did not intend to kill Arapaj, but said that both of them had narcotics and he had failed to understand what was happening.

Selimaj was arrested on Friday in a rented apartment in Glyka Nera, while under the influence of narcotics and threatening the police.

"You're lucky I don't have the gun with me because I threw it away, otherwise I would have told you," Selimaj reportedly told police. His threatening statement was made when the police officer was taking his photo for identification purposes.

The 46-year-old is charged with intentional homicide and illegal possession and use of a weapon, while the other two people are charged as accomplices, as they were in the car with the perpetrator and the victim at the time of the crime.
