The Democratic Party has reacted regarding today's incident where Fatjon Dauti, together with some supporters of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, entered one of the premises of the headquarters, kicking the doors.

In a statement to the media, the DP describes this as the most ugly act in the 31 years of existence of the Democratic Party.

"Bringing by Sali Berisha to the headquarters of the Democratic Party the bosses of organized crime, led by Fatjon Dautin, is the most ugly act that has happened in these 31 years of existence of the DP. Democrats' headquarters cannot be attacked by drug traffickers. This party has nothing to do with drug traffickers or organized crime bosses. Attempts to replace party institutions with acts of violence by international organized crime bosses are typical acts of an illegal cell. The party institutions have taken their decisions, finally deciding to choose the future, the interest of the Democrats, the Democratic Party and Albania. 

Sali Berisha's unprecedented insult to the 5004 members of the National Assembly of the Democratic Party, the vast majority of this body, labeling them as socialists, left-wing extremists, hardened Enverists, is the clearest expression that Sali Berisha has chosen to step on any democrat which serves the interest of the Democrats, the interest of the DP and not his personal interest. "It is a fact that the vast majority of the Party Presidency, the National Council and the National Assembly have chosen the future and the interest of the Democratic Party, by not allowing the bunkering of the DP for anyone's personal concerns" , it is said in the DP reaction.
