Shkëlzen Berisha in SPAK, head of DP: He was called to divert attention

The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has commented on the appeal of his son Shkëlzen to SPAK, regarding the Gërdec issue.

Invited to the show "Open" on News24, Berisha said that he learned the news that his son was called to SPAK today from the media. Berisha said that this call comes to divert attention from what he calls the "Rama-McGoigal superscandal".

"To be honest, I found out from the media that my son was summoned to the Prosecutor's Office. He didn't tell me this since he was called to SPAK today. The problem is this, there is a fax, the original of which has never been found, sent by the MD to the UK, where it is written that this should be given to Shkëlzen, not Shkëlzen Berisha, but Shkëlzen. This has been served as a letter from Aldo Bumçi, and this happened a week after the MD had sent the official letter about the problem, as is the law. Now, what was that?! This was as if the MD was addressing my son in the UK, which he had no connection with. Bumçi had never written this note. He took it and sued it in the prosecutor's office as a forgery of his writing. The prosecution case was never taken.

Aldo Bumçi denies it and has opened a lawsuit for this fax, in which his signature is forged. The prosecution, instead of investigating, has not investigated until today and is calling Shkëlzen after 15 years. It should be investigated, but the first investigation is about the former minister who declares that they falsified my writing.

This was not done because they did not care because it turns out to be a forgery. The whole problem is a person x makes a fax. The secretary gave her testimony in court. If the secretary expresses herself in the name of the minister, she is involved in a manipulation scheme, but I cannot accuse her, because she says that she did not do this.

It is simply a call they made to overcome the Rama-McGonigal superscandal. That's all! He is the SKAP of the party, but the prosecution must call whoever it needs. This is a genuine political appeal. "Even if it's who forged it, I wouldn't say, because it's a criminal matter, it belongs to the forensics laboratory," said Berisha.
