The head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, has provided details of the diaspora voting process for the May 11 elections.

Celibashi told the media that so far 154,770 envelopes have been distributed to registered voters and around 22,000 ballots have been returned, which makes up 12.5% ​​of the ballots that have been submitted.

"So far, 154,770 voters have received their envelopes, meaning 62% of registered voters have received their electoral documentation, namely their ballots. They have arrived at the CEC so far and 19,025 have been processed as of the moment we speak, while by the end of the day, around 22,000 ballots will have been returned, meaning 12.5% ​​of the ballots that have been submitted. The process of administering these ballots continues ," said Celibashi.
