The relatives of the two missing persons "occupy" the police station

Family members of the two missing persons from the village of Çukë in Saranda protested this Saturday in front of the police station of Saranda.

Leonard Thodhori, 46, and Fatmir Sulovari, 46, have mysteriously disappeared for 16 days.

The family members verbally clashed with a police officer demanding an account of the fate of the two missing persons.

The brother of Fatmir Sulovar asks for his brother's body to be found, even if he was killed.

In front of the police station, they say that they will gather continuously until they get an answer from the Saranda Police.

Who are Leonard Thodhori and Fatmir Sulovari?

Leonard Thodhori is known by the nickname "Koçole" and has been convicted several times.

He is suspected of being a participant in the Qafë-Gjaštë Massacre in 1999, where the police officer Gjergj Mehmeti was killed. In 2003, he was present in the vehicle driven by Andrea Gjini before the latter killed the businessman Jaho Bajo, while in the same year he was arrested for "not reporting a crime" related to another event committed by Gjini.

Thodhori was later arrested for "theft" and "fraud", while in the city he is known as a user of narcotics and involved in drug trafficking.

Meanwhile, Fatmir Sulovari was previously convicted for "carrying a weapon without a permit" and "intentionally causing minor injury".

It turns out that he was arrested in April 2022 in Lushnje, after a quantity of cannabis divided into doses ready for sale was found in his "BMË" X5 vehicle.
