On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, the main actors of Albanian politics conveyed their congratulatory messages.

President Ilir Meta has congratulated the Muslim faithful and calls for the strengthening of nationwide solidarity and the overcoming of any obstacle that hinders the construction of a European Albania.

He says efforts to heal the wounds of society such as poverty, corruption, arrogance and arbitrariness should not be stopped.

Prime Minister Edi Rama congratulated all Muslim believers, distributing a video from the mosque of "Et'hem Bey" in Tirana.

Through a message on social networks, the leader of the Democrats, Lulzim Basha, wishes that joy, peace and hope for a just Albania prevail in the families of Albanians. He emphasizes that the tradition of this holiday to share good with neighbors and relatives, is a sign of responsibility that citizens feel towards the country.

Even the Speaker of the Assembly, Gramoz Ruçi has considered this a holy day for unity and reflection. He expressed gratitude to the Muslim community in Albania and for the traditions they have.
