Altin Hajri, the underworld figure who allegedly helped Jurgis Çyrbjan to get on the safe list for MPs in the 2021 parliamentary elections, is involved in the kidnapping and murder of Jan Prenga, the event that took place in 2020.

Altin Hajri's name appeared in the SkyECC conversations, where he, together with Ahmet Masha, allegedly intervened so that the socialist was included in the list third.

The conversations between them took place in the encrypted SkyEcc application in 2020, where it is learned that the name of the citizen Edmond Koçi, also known as Mond Çekiçi, came out.

He is accused of the kidnapping and disappearance of Jan Prenga in January 2020.

Altin Hajri, one of the members of the criminal group that operated in the area of ​​Shijak, is being tried in absentia as it has not been possible to find him.

He was also wanted internationally by the Italian authorities, suspected of being the head of a drug trafficking network from Afghanistan to Italy. But the Italian authorities stopped investigating him, removing his name from the wanted lists.

In Albania, Altin Hajri's assets worth about 10 million euros were blocked.

In October 2015, in a joint operation of the Italian and Albanian police coded "Enigma", 16 people were arrested and more than 450 kilograms of raw drugs, 325 kilograms of marijuana, 206 kilograms of heroin were seized.

Suspected of being part of this traffic, the son of Altin Hajri's uncle and another of his cousins, Hajri Balla and Fortuz Hajri, 53 and 24 years old, both residents of Shijak, were arrested in the city of Durrës at that time. Their arrest was made on the basis of a Venice court ban order dated August 15, 2015.

They were accused at that time of the criminal offense of "narcotics trafficking", while they had escaped the police operation in 2015, together with Altin Hajri.

The kidnapping and disappearance of Jan Prenga

Jan Prenga was kidnapped on January 17, 2020 in the Kamza area and his body has not been found for almost 4 years.

The police proved the presence of his body with the help of film footage and put Leonard Hajri, Bajram Hajri, Festim Bexhdili, Olsi Turja and Ardian Docaj behind bars, while today only gardener Festim Bexhdili remains in prison.

He was executed by order of the "heads" of the gang, because of a quantity of 283 kg of cocaine, that Jan Prenga's brother, Astri, was holding hostage in England and did not tell him where he had taken it.
